Sarah Marksteiner is thrilled to be an Artistic Associate with NYCCT, following her time as an apprentice. Sarah’s focus as a playwright, performer, and arts administrator is to uplift original work. While she lived in the DC area, she co-founded the Class Act Players and produced 5 seasons of new work. Writing credits include Interstellar Cinderella’s Lab Discoveries (production: NYCCT), Abandon All Hope: Bees Who Enter Here (workshop: Breaking & Entering, NY), I Hate Art, SuperNOVA (productions: Class Act Players, VA/DC). Recent stage credits include Air Mail / Par Avion (Capital Fringe, DC), Title of Show (William & Mary, VA), Hamlet, The Tempest (Shakespeare in the Dark, VA), and improvising with I.T., Improvisational Theatre. Sarah earned a BA in Theatre Arts from The College of William & Mary (’19) and studied classical acting at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
