Brandon Schraml

Tell us a little bit about where you’re from! I’m originally from Kansas City, MO (the city with the second most fountains in the world!)

If I could travel anywhere in the universe, I would go to… Mars because I’d hope to meet some Martians

Three things most people would be surprised to learn about me are:
1. I won the Missouri State Spelling Bee in 5th grade
2. I’ve performed in 48 of the 50 states
3. I’ve been in an exhibit with a fully conscious adult tiger

Families should see Please Bring Balloons because…it pushes creativity and the idea of loving what makes each person special. Also…. a Polar Bear!!!

My favorite children’s book is… Green Eggs and Ham because I always enjoyed Dr. Seuss’ creativity , and who doesn’t love ham and eggs and the color green?

Brandon is delighted to be making his debut with NYCCT! He’s originally from Kansas City, MO, and has performed in 48 of the 50 states on five national tours (including Ring of Fire 1st national). Brandon has played some of his dream roles regionally in the past two years (Sweeney Todd, Javert, Sky Masterson, Bob Wallace). He’s also been a lead in four Off Broadway shows  (The Video GamesThe Pillars of New YorkThe Deathly Ones, 27 Heaven), three independent feature films (including After the Outbreak), and does TV and VO. Brandon is also a skilled puppeteer and has worked with John Tartaglia. He’s thankful for his wife, Nikki, and for sharing his love of theatre with future generations.
