Claire Simba

Tell us a little bit about where you’re from!
I am originally from Cameroon in Africa but I was born in France and lived across three continents.

If I could travel anywhere in the universe, I would go to… Greece because I always wanted to see where Theatre was born….

Three things most people would be surprised to learn about me are:
1. I love Korean drama
2. I also write and direct plays
3. I have a degree in Production

Families should see Please Bring Balloons because…It’s fun, it’s interactive and it’s positive! It brings everyone together and that is exactly what we all need right now.

My favorite children’s book is… Les malheurs de Sophie. It’s a novel written by a French countess (how cool is that!) that tells the story of a little girl who was so genuine and clumsy that she didn’t quite fit in in the world she was living in at the time. I could relate somehow and I grew up along side with her.

Claire is excited to be making her NYCCT debut in Please Bring Balloons. She is a graduate from the Stella Adler Acting Studio in New York and a proud alumni of the Cincinnati Playhouse acting company. Recent credits include Justine in Madam Secretary (CBS) and Cassondra Scott in Shadow of Doubt (ID Discovery). Many thanks to the amazing creative team and fellow cast member, my agent and my family for their ongoing support.
