A Tiger Called Tomás

by Charlotte Zolotow

When Tomás moves to a new town, he feels very nervous about meeting new people and making new friends. But when Halloween comes Tomás is given a tiger mask that hides his identity and gives him the courage to go out trick-or-treating with friends. But Tomás soon discovers his costume doesn’t hide him quite as well as he thinks. Tomás shows us that you don’t need a disguise to find friends that like you just the way you are!
