Play a Theater Game!

Space Charades

Charades can be so much fun.

You can pick some sort of theme, have everyone write down something related to that theme on strips of paper and put them in a hat to shake up.

I think it’s always fun for children to see their grown-ups acting silly and playing.

Thanks for the suggestion, Brielle Silvestri! Now, let’s play Space Charades!

Have everyone pick and write down the names of 3 space related words on strips of paper. Put them in a hat and shake them up. Have each person take a turn acting out the item they pick out of the hat!

Get Creative Together!

Make a Snack!

After all that exploring, you deserve a snack! Fruit and Marshmallow Space Rockets, found on Mama Cheaps, is perfect for you and your little one!

You’ll need strawberries, cantaloupe, marshmallows, and wooden skewers.

  1. Cut 1/2 inch trapezoid shaped slices of cantaloupe
  2. Cut your strawberries into three slices
  3. Layer your fruit and marshmallows onto the skewer.
The cantaloupe should be at the bottom, followed by a strawberry, then a marshmallow. Continue the strawberry and marshmallows until completed.

Enjoy!
