If there’s one thing we love, it’s crafting! Below are some of our favorite crafts that we’ve made with our young audience members in the lobby before our shows started!

Paper Plate Space Ship

Paper Plate Space Ship

Interstellar Cinderella

Before every performance of Interstellar Cinderella, we invited young audience members to make their own spaceship and added it to our online space parade! We saw lots of incredible designs.

Pigeon Puppet

Pigeon Puppet

Wringer

In honor of Nipper, Palmer’s best friend in Wringer, who happened to be a super cool puppet made by James Ortiz, our young audience members make paper pigeon marionette puppets before the show began.

Shadow Puppet Theater

Shadow Puppet Theater

The Little Red Fish

The Little Red Fish used a variety of puppet techniques to tell the story of Jeje’s trip to the library. We showed our young theatergoers just how the shadow puppetry on stage worked, on a much smaller scale, with nothing but a cereal box, a piece of printer paper and a flashlight!

The Emperor’s Crown

The Emperor’s Crown

The Emperor’s New Clothes...

Every Emperor needs a crown, and our young theatergoers got to design and wear their crown when they attended a performance of The Emperor’s New Clothes!

Shooting Star

Shooting Star

Laurie Berkner’s Pillowland

A shooting star takes Stanley and his friends to Pillowland every Sunday, so it only seemed fitting that our young theatergoers got to make their own stars too!

Find out what we’re making at our next show! Join us for a pre-show craft before every performance of This is Sadie!
