Rob Coglitore | Ensemble

Rob Coglitore is a native New Yorker, a stan for empathy, and a versatile performing artist who fell in love with dance at an early age. His technical training, however, did not start until after graduating college, from Fordham University, when he attended the Professional Semester program at Broadway Dance Center. Since then his passion for dance and storytelling has continued to manifest into a professional career. He has appeared on Saturday Night Live, MTV, ABC, Shaun T’s CIZE, and in the recent film Isn’t It Romantic. His theatrical credits include: The Illusionists Broadway/National Tour, and the Off-Broadway immersive hit Seeing You, choreographed by Ryan Heffington, as the Male Swing. Rob is super excited and grateful to be a part of This Is Sadie and looks forward to sharing this show with audiences that were around his age when he first connected with dance. Rob loves using his art to tell stories that make people imagine possibilities, and hopes the future is filled with more of it. Lastly, much love as always to his family and friends for being awesomely supportive.

Tell us a little bit about where you’re from!

I was born in the Bronx and grew up in Eastchester, NY a friendly suburban neighborhood. Not many boys danced there but I ended up falling in love with it.

Sadie and her fox go on dance adventures underwater, in the jungle and more! I wish I could dance in Madison Square Garden

If I received wings like Sadie, I would fly to the North Star, to see what the view is like from there.

Fox’s favorite breakfast is pancakes – mine is French Toast! Because I don’t always have it but when I do it never disappoints me.

My favorite children’s book is If You Give A Mouse A Cookie because it taught me how the simplest action can lead to an incredible adventure!

Three things most people would be surprised to learn about me are:

1. I’m great at mental math.

2. I’m a huge fan of professional wrestling.

3. I love riddles and puzzles.

This is Sadie is an adventurous story based on the power of the imagination, with such a beautiful message for children. All told through the art of dance.
