Welcome to Creative Clubhouse Stories Book Recommendations!

Each week we’re going to share a book as well as an activity to do based on the book!

This week we’re reading Trombone Shorty written by Troy Andrews and illustrated by Bryan Collier.

This is Trombone Shorty’s Story

Trombone Shorty is an autobiography. That means that Trombone Shorty (who’s real name is Troy Andrews) wrote the book about himself! Probably, because he wanted to share a really great thing that happened to him with all of us to help inspire us!

What’s Your Story?

Can you think of a really great thing that happened to you? It could be recent or it could be when you were younger. How would you tell that story? Can we help you tell that story?
